Operation Gideon's Chariots : IDF launched a exclusive operation in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces have launched a major operation in Gaza, dubbed "Operation Gideon's Chariots." The main goal of the operation is to defeat the terrorist Hamas and free Israeli hostages. Israel is also determined to establish control over Gaza through this operation.

The Israeli media outlet The Times of Israel said that "Operation Gideon's Chariots" is named after a biblical warrior.

The aim of the operation is to evacuate civilians in southern Gaza, prevent Hamas from controlling aid operations, and deter Hamas.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier this month that Israel was "preparing a major offensive" in Gaza, with the aim of seizing the territory.

However, the Israeli government has also said that the operation will not begin until after US President Donald Trump's visit to the Middle East. Trump left the Middle East on Friday after his visit. The IDF then prepared for the operation.

 

The Israeli Defense Forces said, "We will not stop our operation until Hamas is no longer a threat and all hostages held by them are released."

The post also claimed that more than 150 "terrorist targets" had been attacked in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages. Israel then launched a military operation in Gaza, which is still ongoing. Hamas still holds 57 hostages. The Israeli Defense Forces are continuing to operate to free them.
